Students examine the range of skills required by universities and log how they demonstrate the skills. This can be handed to tutors when writing a reference or is simply a helpful tool to get students to engage in more independent learning by seeing the log at the beginning of their sixth form experience.
Possibly, collect in and hand out in tutor time at key moments to keep students thinking about being in control of their learning.
Students can use the completed log when they come to draft their UCAS Personal Statement.
