Real-life business challenges set by UK companies to enhance students' employability skills
At The Inspirational Learning Group, we are the company behind the largest enterprise competition in the UK, 'The Ryman national Enterprise Challenge' which has been delivered to over 200,000 young people in the past 5 years. We are set deliver 450 enterprise days this year across the country alone. After frequent requests from schools, last year, we launched a sixth form version in association with NatWest.
'The National Skills Challenge' is a real-life business challenge, supported by Natwest, and provides a meaningful employer encounter for every student.
The KS5 programme is open to 6th form students.
THE CHALLENGE
The International Business Challenge is set by UCFB (University Campus of Football Business), who provide prestigious undergraduate and postgraduate football and sports degrees within campuses at Wembley Stadium, Etihad Stadium, Burnley FC and more recently, Real Madrid.Students will be set the challenge of identifying a new location overseas to help the brand expansion of UCFB. Cross curricular tasks include:•Mind mapping
• Types of courses to study at your new campus
• Branding
• Costing
• Marketing
• Presentation skills
Delivered by our engaging and expert team over the course of one full day, the challenge aims to develop key employability skills required for the world of work and higher education, including team work, communication and leadership.
THE WINNING TEAM
The winning team from every school will represent their school/college at the National Finals on April 4th 2019 at NatWest HQ in London.Finals day is a celebration of enterprise and employability for everyone who attends, and teams pitch their ideas to impress industry experts.
OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique and exceptional opportunity for your school and its 6th form students. The cost of participation is:
£1250 + VAT -up to 60 students
£1500 + VAT -up to 120 students
Cost includes challenge day, facilitators, resources and equipment together with tickets for the winning group and a teacher to attend the National Finals event.
£750+VAT (Self-Delivery Option) -We provide the PowerPoint, a pre-delivery call and tickets for the 5 winners & a teacher to attend the National Final.
The overall winners will secure a fully expensed internship at Natwest HQ during the summer of 2019.
